A brilliant bit of viral advertising. There’s nothing particularly new or unique about the style, but it’s extremely well done.
A wonderful story about a woman who couldn’t help but feel emotional whenever she watched the WALL-E trailer, and what Pixar did when they saw the video she made of herself getting choked up by their hopelessly romantic robot. It’s nice to know that the people working at Pixar have large hearts that rival those of the loving characters portrayed in their films.
Keith Loutit’s tilt-shifted time-lapse videography is bizarrely adorable. And awesome.
The tilt-shift is what makes the objects look like tiny scale models, and the time-lapse just makes the videos that much more mesmerizing.

I’m more than tempted to believe this is not real, but if it is, it is most certainly why God invented camera phones.
In a video created 3 days after posting the carjacking clip, YouTube user rorymultistorey claims that the incident was indeed real and that his wife’s niece was the one who captured it on video. He also gets a big ass wad of baby spit on his right knee, which is almost enough to sell me on the whole thing.
Real or not, I think it’s worthy of more than 226 views. Share away.
